OnePlanet in Science meets Business: High Tech in healthcare

04-03-2021

Curious about OnePlanets future plans in relation to the regional health ecosystem? Chris van Hoof will be presenting them in the meeting ‘Science meets Business’ on March 4th. In this monthly SMB meeting SME’s in the region Arnhem – Nijmegen – Wageningen connect and exchange knowledge in the world of science & business.

The role of technology in healthcare and preventive health is increasing at a rapid pace. Medtech, eHealth and remote care all had an accelerated adoption rate in the last year, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This leads to all kinds of new opportunities for the development of new technologies in health. One of the interesting areas here is the use of sensor technology combined with data capture and analysis to diagnose, monitor and even predict the health of patients.

The start of OnePlanet Research Center leads to new opportunities in the region. OnePlanet will provide a boost in the development of new sensing and digital technologies and their adaptation in the clinical practice.
